[:en]Last December, Madam Becky Chang, 60 was told that her division was shutting down. Not wanting to waste her 40 years of experience in the shipping industry and worried about finding another job given her age, Madam Chang, applied for the position of Shipping & Procurement Manager at Moovaz.
To help with her transition into her new role, Madam Chang was enrolled into a 9-month Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) by Workforce Singapore and administered by the Supply Chain and Logistics Academy.
On schedule to complete in December, Madam Chang believes that the course complements her wealth of experience in the shipping industry and will be able to contribute to Moovaz’s growth.
