Moovaz started out with the vision of bringing the world closer and the hope of providing seamless moving experience for everyone. As global talents are becoming increasingly mobile and yearning for more global exposure, Moovaz is determined to refine the traditionally slow and expensive relocation process and revolutionise it into a tech-driven and consumer-centric services that fulfil customers’ relocation needs.
Over the years, Moovaz continuously sought funding opportunities from investors to build its core platform and continue expanding its data analytics capabilities. In 2018, Moovaz raised US$1m in the seed funding round from investors including key personnel from Ong Beng Seng’s family office fund, Mojo Partners, and senior operating executives from American and Chinese unicorn startups. With the funding, it has helped Moovaz reach out to larger communities and successfully expanded into the Asia-Pacific market.
With the growing demand for a more transparent and efficient platform service, Moovaz continues to work tirelessly to meet our customer’s needs. Even when COVID-19 pandemic cause chaos and problems globally, Moovaz braved the storm and continue to provide the best for our customers.
Fortunately, Moovaz remained resilient through the crisis and managed to raise US$7 million in a Series A funding round led by Quest Ventures. With that, Moovaz is excited to bring about change in the traditional moving industry with the smarter technology and improved business models.
With the global community needs in mind, Moovaz aims to help expatriates relocate and settle into local communities comfortably and easily. Early June this year, Moovaz announced its acquisition of The Finder, the expat publications from the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH)! The finder provides expatriates with lifestyle, shopping and travel tips and guides to Singapore and around the region. Moovaz plans to work with The Finder to provide lifestyle guides and services for our relocating customers, as well as reach out to and serve the wider community.
